PTOMAINE POISONING. i) Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Wednesday. Five occupants of one of the local hoteis are guttering from ptomaine poisoning, which k supposed to be due to eating tinned peaches. They were confined to bed yesterday, but are now improving. A FATAL FALL. Auckland, Wednesday. Harry Dudley, a married man, and a painter by trade, was killed by a fall from the roof of a building at the Sugar Works, Chelsea.
