The New Zealand University tournament was practically concluded to-day, only three finals in the tennis matches remaining to be played, In the ladies doubles two Canterbury College teams will play oir at Christch'urch. The finals of the combined doubles and men's doubles will be decided to-morrow afternoon. In the Una I of the ladies singles, Hiss Reeve, of Victoria College, beat Miss (trace, oi Canterbury College, 12— 10. In the semi-linals'of the ladies', doubles, Misses Cross and Jameson (Canterbury) beat Misses llaslett and Woodhouse' (Otago), !)—1; .Misses Grace and Paterson (Canterbury) beat Misses Moore and Edwards (Otago), ."—5. In the semi-finals of the combined doubles, Jennings and Miss (trace (Canterbury) beat Richardson and Miss McLaughlin (Auckland), ll—ft; (lower and Miss Edwards (Otago) beat Cleghorn and Miss .Mcintosh (Victoria College), (i—o, O—l. In the final of the men's singles, Jennings (Canterbury) beat Moody (Otngo), (I—o, 7—5. In the semi-finals of the men's doubles, Jennings and Wilding (Canterbury) beat Smith and Cleghorn (Victoria College), ii-0, (1-0; Bundle and Cower (Otago) heal Hiehardson and Tavlor (Auckland), ii-4, ii-;t. The ladies' hockey mutch, Victoria College v. Otago University, ended in a draw, each side scoring two goals. The Victoria College Rugby teams defeated a team from the three other colleges by 12 points to 3.
