FIRES.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Cliristchurch, Last Night. Then l were two fires on Saturday night, between ten and eleven o'clock. By the first a furniture shop and manufactory were destroyed. The only insurances are believed to be .CHD in the New Zealand ollice on the contents of the furniture, shop. By the second, the City Council's stable at St. Albans was destroyed, together with four horses.
