A CONVICT'S PUNISHMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. Oscar Kossub was brought betore Mr. Widdowson, S.M., yesterday afternoon, charged witli escaping frpm prison at the Heads on the 10th inst. His Worship convicted prisoner and ordered him to be fed on bread and water for seven days and, in addition, to forfeit 72K marks, the number of marks necessary under the regulations to entitle him to 91 days' remission of sentence. Kossub will be brought before the Court at a later date charged with breaking and entering the house of dames Dick and stealing therefrom a quantity of wearing apparel.
