By Telegmph—Press Association. ' Gore, Last Night. A lire occurred this evening in a drapery stove, the property of Simon McDonald, but it was subdued liefore much damage was done to the building. The stock was destroyed chially by water. 'The stock of Samuel McDonald, an Invercargill bootmaker, who occupied a 'portion of the building, was damaged to some extent. The insurances are: Simon McDonald, oil the building .toorf, 'iittings £IOO, stock £BOO, the damage being estimated at £I2OO over that 'amount. Samuel McDonald had £ISOO 'on his. stock.
