PAYMENT OF STRIKE I'TNIiS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Christchurch, Last Night. As an outcome of the deputation | w hv-h waited on the Premier yesterday, i .Mr. W. 11. Dagger, oll'icer in charge of | the Labor Bureau here, has received instructions to accept payment of arrears of lines due by the slaughtermen in respect of the strike two or three years ago hi instalments, the amount to be paid direct to the Labor Department's representatives. The instructions apply to the men at Belfast and Fairfield as well as those at Islington.
