BEER AND COAL STATISTICS. Received March 15, 9.33 p.m. London, March 15. British expenditure on intoxicating liquor was llil million in 1908 and 107 million in 1907. The output of coal in 1908 was] 261,5(10,379 tons, a decrease of 0,300,473 tons; while 47,195 more miners were employed.
