COMMITTED TO PRISON.
A MINISTER'S MARTYRDOM. Received March 15, 9.53 p.m. Melbourne, March 15. Rev. P. J. Murdoch, clerk of the South Melbourne Presbytery, has been committed to prison for contempt, in refusing to produce a copy of a letter sent by the Presbytery to defendant in the action Rev. Ronald versus Robert Harper, a member of the House of Representatives. Rev. Murdoch insisted that he had sworn to keep all documents of the Presbytery, and could not give them up without the Presbytery's authority.
