CONSPIRACY AMONG NAVAL CONTRACTORS. Paris, March 12. An official report supplied to the Chamber of Deputies alleges that there was a conspiracy amongst contractors to defraud the Treasury in connection with one contract for the supply of 37 submarine motors, which gave a profit of 95 per cent. Battleships costing Britain a million and a half cost France over two millions.
