EGMONT ROAD BOARD
At the monthly meeting of the above Hofi rd held oil Saturday there were present—Messrs. T. Howe (chairman), F. Salway, J. Martin, H. C. Sampson, and If. Martin. The Comity Council notified that the crusher would be sent to Egmont Road • as soon as it had finished work at OmaI ta. The tender of J. Lock© for 10 chains of formation on the Dorset ltoad was acr eeipted. Tenders are to he called (1) for carting 200 cubic yards of gravel froiu Pett's pit, for patching the ITenwotd and other roads; (2) for carting. 3(H) yards, of stone from t!hc crusher at" Eg■lont Road (not less tbtan 00 cubic yards jut day) from the tup- of John Bishop's hill to the top of Hill's hill; (It) for HO cubic yards of gravel for the Corbolt and Wills roads, and »sor gravelling 10 chains of Corbett road., Messrs. A. Marsh and William ChefHngs waited on the Boaird and asked if they would "have boulders carted to Egmont road and the crusher put there instead of at Kaipi road. Accounts for .£2-: 5s were parsed f° r payment.
