A young man named Charles Coodwillie pleaded guilty to three charges of breaking into houses ut Kiverton aad frightening women and children. lie was committed, for sentence, CHARGES. AGAINST CYCLISTS. Ohristchurch, Tuesday. Three riders who finished, in the first three places in a 50-mile cycle road race at .Lecston on December 12, were prosecuted for furious riding, but Mr Bishop, S.M., dismissed the ease on the ground that the facts did not constitute an offence under .the section of the Police Offences Act relied on.
