INTERSTATE COXFEREXCE. Sydney, January 13. The inter-State conference of swimming' delegates received a cable from the Xi-w Zealand Association- regretting that it could not be represented. The conference decided to omit New Zealand from an agreement to be formed. In the event of applying later tu join the Dominion is to be treated as a new party to the agreement. Beaurepaire won the Australasian mile swimming championship easily in 24min Bsec. [The world'os record for the mile was held by the Into Australian swimmer B. B. Kieran, whose time was 23mm 16 4-ssec]
