The Customs duties for the corresponding month last year amounted to £3340 18s lid, and the beer dutv to £7O 10s. The Customs returns for the quarter ending December 31, 1008; amounted to £10,01!) 15s 4d. and the beer dutv to €234 13s, against £O7OO 10s Od'and £235 12s respectively for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
