THE YEAR'S FIGURES. | Received 24, 0.40 a.m. Melbourne, Uist Night. At the annual meeting of the National Mutual Life Insurance Company, the chairman stated that the new business for the year amounted, for the second year in succession, to over, three millions. The business exceeded that of the previous vear in amount bv £10.00(1. The interest worked out at :C4 13s 2d on the mean funds. The increase in income was £72,000. The company's funds had increased by .C 400.000. and now were nearly five and a-ijnarter millions.
