A YANKEE BOAST. London, December 2. The New York correspondent of tha Standard states that heavy pressure is being brought to bear on the Wavs and Means Committee of Tariff Revision to include hides in the free list. Boot manufacturers declare that if tin duty on hides is abolished they will be able to gain complete control of the British hoot market.
