THE LOCH LOMOND.
AN UNSUCCESSFUL SEARCH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Oovemment steamer Hinemoa, returned to Auckland to-day after an un- 1 successful search for the missing barque Loch Lomond. The Hmemoa left here on 2nd November for the Three Kings, arriving there ou the 4tb. Three days were spout ia searching for the Loch Lomond, but no traces of her could be found. The depot on the Kings was visited. The stores were in good order and untouched. The Hinemoa then proceeded to the Keriuadec group, where search was made, but no wreckage of any kind was picked up. The steamer also culled at the Little Barrier, The scientific party who spent ten months on the Kermadecs joined the Hinemoa at Sunday island, and arrived by her at Auckland to-day. The Hinemoa proceeds to Wellington on Thursday.
