WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE.
London, November 12. Mrs. Henry Fawcctt, on behalf of the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies, has addressed a circular letter to members of the House of Commons expressing the Union's deep regret at the militant methods of the suffragettes. At the same time she asks Parliament to enfranchise women next session. FREE FIGHTS AT A MEETING. Received 13, 10.54 p.m. London, November 13, Mr. A. Birrel, Secretary for Ireland, addressed a Liberation Society meeting at the City Temple, suffragettes interrupting, throughout. There were several free fights between supporters and opponents of the suffragist movement. Thirteen women and three men were ejected.
