<m By Telegraph.-Press Association. Feilding, Wednesday. The Wellington District Synod of the Primitive Methodist Church opened its animal session here yesterday. The following olticers were appointed:— Chairman, Rev. J. Clover Wilding) ; vice-chairman, Mr. J. Embury (Wellington); secretary, Rev. C. A. Sims; assistant secretary, Rev. B. Matson. Invcrcargill, Last Night. By a fire in a shed at the back of tlie National Mortgage buildings this evening a motor-car, valued at about £7OO, and tyres, valued at about £2OO, were burnt. The shed was damaged to tha extent of about £OO or £BO. The car was insured for £SOO in the National office, and the shed was also covered, but the tym were uninsured.
