STEAMERS DESTROYED
INCEN 1)1 AIU.SM USL'ECTED. Hy Telegraph.—-Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Levin and C'o.'s tivo rive-.* steamers at I'oxton were destroyed by fire at 2 o'cluck this morning, under circumstances pointing to incendiarism. The damage amounts to between £7OO and £HOO. The steamers were to have been utilised in running excursions from I Palmerston to Koxton Heads to-day.
