CRICKET.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchureh Last Night. F. C. Rapahel, lion, secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Association, who returned to Christchureh to-day after a visit to Autralia, states a difficulty has tu-isen between the au'embci's Of the Australian rep. cricket team to visit England and the Board of Control. The players are insisting on the old arrangement .being followed whereby each received a pro rata share of the receipts, but the Board demands a percentage of the net receipts. The Board is to meet next week and Mr. Raphael is of opinion that the players will agree to the terms of the Board. Jf an agreement is not come to, he does not see how a firstclass team can be sent to England. Dunedin, Last Night. At a meeting of the Otago Cricket Association to-night, it was decided to appoint Messrs. Wadsworth, of Sydney, a fast bowler, and A vies, of Melbourne, a batsman, as coaches.
