RIFLE SHOOTING.
THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. By Telegraph.-—Prosa Association. Wellington, Friday. The Executive Council of the New Zealand Defence Forces Rifle Association is now preparing for the annual litle meeting which takes place at Trenthani, commencing on March 4 and finishing on March 13. Til addition to the usual champion belt several nt'w service matches will lie introduced, and teams' matches will form an important feature of the meeting. Colonel Collins, the executive officer, desires to make known that second and third-class targets will be circular in accordance with the Bislev regulations, and that (lie Council of Defence has sanctioned the adoption of th<' new Bislev regulation a s to hack sights of service rifles.
The ammunition to be used is being specially manufactured by the Colonial Ammunition Company.
