There hiid been siuee 15)00 a decrease iu the capital invested in Canadian wool production amounting to £720,000, and a decrease of 2200 iu the number of hands employed. The annual value of the products had increased by .€320,000. He appealed to Canadians to insist on the inercaso of woollen duties in ordi r to prevent tlw extinction of the industry.
