WORK AND WAGES.

' Dunedin, Last Xiglit. •The Tailors' and Tramways' Unions have approved of the Trades and Labor Conference's resolution relating to nolicense, and the Painters', Tinsmiths' and Sawniillers' Unions have declined to endorse it. 'I lie Trades and Labor Council tonight discussed the action of tile Arbitration Court in inserting "strike'" clauses in recent awards, and decided to enter its emphatic protest against the Court's action.
