THE ROYAL PICTURES. The announcement is made in another column that the Royal Pictures .Syndicate, of Wellington, is about to establish a circuit in this district, will be welcome news to the picture-loving public; The Royal Pictures have ooeu■pied His Majesty's Theatre in Wellington for the past nine months, and are now looked upon as one of the permanent amusement houses of the Empire City. The opening programme to lie shown here consists of some notable and historic pictures, besides excellent 'examples of colored cinematography. Among the list all tastes are catered ■for, and all subjects touched upon, humorous, pathetic and dramatic. The representations are said to be the most life-like even shown by biograph. The pictures will he projected by the latest .pathe plant, and the lighting will be by electricity, the company carrying its own plant.
