In the final for Hie men's championship (Gollan Cup), Karupo Taivlui txeatl liurraud 5 up a"d 3 to play, llarraud started badly, and Tareha was U up at the eighth hole. After that they kept fairly well together, but Barraud was "oil" iu putting, and lost several chances of gaining on his opponent. It was not a tirst-class exposition of the game. The men's linal handicap was won by F. Haven (handicap 1"). who was 4 up, H. Kawiio (handicap 1) was second, 1 up, and G. F. Thorburn (handicap 2) was third. The mix'ed foursomes was won by F. T. lloys and Miss M. Ilindmarsh (handicap 0), who were 3 down. NGAIIOTU CLUB. The final round of the comittce's trophy was played on Saturday. Messrs Johns and Steeds tied for first place, and the play-oil' will be a-ranged later. Following are the best scores:— Hep. Ist 2nd 3rd Tl.
