LOUD ROBERTS. This well-known and excellent ly-bred sire will again stand at Mr. 11. Purdic's stud, Waitara road. Lord Roberts' stock are now coming into prominence, and both as workers and show-ring horses have made their mark. At the last annual sale of Clydesdales held at Melbourne, a stallion sired by Lord Roberts was sold undor the hammer at 325 guineas. GLEN ROY. Mr. l'urdie has mude a good addition to his stud by securing Glen RoyJ a big, upstanding horse that must commend himself to breeders. Glen Roy is by that celebrated sire Glnyyl Mis dam is a Director mare, it will be seen by this that he is descended from great horses, and in addition it a sire tfllat shows plenty of quality. EMPIIRE. It will be seen by advertisement that Empire is to again travel in the Waitara district. Empire is a South Is-land-lbred 'horse and is as useful as he is full of hard-wearing quality, Sinw last season Empire has worked hard in harness and is in fine healthy fettle for his season's work. Mr. Jas. Mitchell, the owner, intends bringing the horse to Waitara after tire Hawora parade of stallions. MACPHERSON. This horse is one of the Frimley* breed, being sired by Prido of Frimley and bred by Mr. M. Roberts ,of Okaiawa. 'MacPhcrson also belongs to Mr. Jlas. Mitchell, and is to stand the season in North Taranaki. Dates of travel and funtlicr particulars will appear later on.
