For the winners, alllhu forwards scored, Mason getting three goals, Barry two, Brooke-Smith two, and Mather and Welhnm one each. Mr. E. E. Madden was an eliicient referee. Auckland have withstood sevt'n challenges for the shield this season, and will now hold it until next year.
