A JUAN AND A REVOLVER. by Telegraph.—Press Association. Duuedin, Last Night. Shortly before 8 o'clock to-night, a man named John Webster, who about ten days ago was bound Over to keep> the peace towards his wife, made an attempt to shoot a man named Ceo.s ilubbard. Mrs. Webster had been staying at the house of Airs. Downe», her cousin, and in the evening Wcbl-t ster presented himself at tho door, saw Sus wife, and asked her to return to him, which she refused to do. He then said that if she did aot he would shoot her, and produced a revolver which Downes and Mrs. Downes tried to take from 'nim. Failing in the attempt they went for the police. In the meantime Hubbard, who is Mrs. Downes' brother, had followed Webster up, and overtook him at tho corner of Cumberland and Frederick street.
