ARBITRATION COURT, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The brass-flnishors' dispute came before the Arbitration Court to-day, and after a conference had been held it was announced that an amicable settlement had been arrived at. The agreement arrived at provides for a minimum wage of Is 3d per hour for brass-finishers employed on general work and Is l%d per hour for those solely employed in making plumbers' gasfittings and enginceis' brasswork which is stocked and imported by merchants. The award will have a currency of two years from Ist August.
