PRESENTATION -OF PRIZES, London, July 20, Thirty-five thousand people were present at the Stadium to witness the presentation of prizes. Queen Alexandra distributed the gold medal trophies. The winners also received Springs of Windsor forest oak tied to Union Jacks, the gifts of the King. , Dorando has, completely recovered. He was given an overpowering reception when Queen Alexandra presented him with the cup. Following are the results of the Games:— i

Britain, 38 wins. United States, 22 wins. Sweden, 7 winß. France, 4 wins. Hungary, 3 wins. (iermany, 2 wins. Canada, 2 wins. Italy, 2 wins. Belgium, 1 win. South Africa, 1 win.. Finland, 1 win. In the 400 metres race, in which the winner (Carpenter, of America) was disqualified for "boring" Hnlswell (Britain), a new race was ordered to be run by the three others who hud qualified for the final. Harwell ran over the course, but the two others (both Americans) refused to race. Smithson (America) won the 110 metres hurdle race in 15sec—a record. Gilbert (America) won the pole jump with the record leap of 140 Inches.
