BURGLARS ON THE JOB.
A MARTON INCIDENT. Per Press Association. Marlon, Friday. There was a burglar at Marton last night. lie is evidently an expert thief. At the White Hart hotel two boarders' rooms were entered and the pockets of the inmates carefully gone through. The room occupied by the proprietor's son was also visited and the money in his pockets stolen.
The Club Hotel was also entered. Here the thief was scon liv the house maid, whose room was entered with a lighted candle. On her awakening he threatened to blow her brains out if she gave the alarm. He then took the contents of her purse, threw the empty purse at her, and decamped. The police have some due in the description given by the housemaid.
