John Hall, a youth of sixteen yours, who started on a career of crime four yearsago, and lias a record of housebreaking, theft, damaging property, and escaping from Burnlmm School, appeared at the Court to-day on a charge of breaking and entering* and theft at Remucra. ile admitted the offence and his bad record. When Mr. Dyer, S.M., sentenced him to three months in gaol. Hall asked it he were to be sent to Burnham at the end of the term, [f so, he would rather have a longer sentence! I The Magistrate said Hull seemed to be absolutely hopeless, but he would not give llim any more at present.
