LATE CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN.
TRANSVAAL APPRECIATION. Pretoria, April 23. Mr. Louis Botha, Premier of the Transvaal, has telegraphed to the Daily Chronicle that by securing self-govern-ment for the new colonies, Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman raised an imperishable monument to himself. By .thorough policy of trust he inspired the* people of South Africa with a new feeling of hopefulness and co-operation, and by making it possible for the two races to live and work together harmoniously be laid the foundation of a United South Africa. AUSTRALIA'S TRIBUTE. Melbourne, April 24. In the Federal House of Representatives Mr. A. Deakin, the Premier, paid a tribute to the late Sir Henry CampI bell-Bannennan.
