NO-LICENSE.
o Per Press Association. Hawera, Thursday. A meeting of no-license delegates from all parts of the newly-formed Patea electorate was held at Patca yesterday. A branch league was iormed, with Mr. B. C. Bobbins as president. Gratification was expressed at the declaration of the Mayor of Invercargill and others regarding the results of nolicense there. The principle of a bare majority in local option and a Dominion vote on no-license areas was approved. It was resolved that in no-license areas it should be an offence to purchase drink except by the police for conviction purposes.
