DUKE OF DEVONSHIRE.

London, March 29. The remains of the Duke of Devonshire were buried with the simplest ceremony. Two retainers watched the coffin at Kdunfon Church. At midnight the mourners, including representatives of the King and the German Kaiser, met at the church. The workmen of the estate and the gamekeepers assembled at the Cavendisli private burial-ground. The Duchoss .was present in a Bath chair.

At a memorial service at St. Margaret's, London, all the loading politicians were present.
