MANAWATU A. AND P. ASSOCIATION
Per Press Association. Palinerston N., Last Night. The A. and P. Association committee met here to-day, and resolved that the Miuister of Agriculture be written-to, expressing satisfaction regarding the decision of the Government to erect the dairy school at Pulmeraton North. Mr. J. M. Johnston was appointed to represent tlie society at the Sydney Royal Agricultural Show, a sum of £25 being voted towards his expenses. The committee expressed its grateful appreciation of Mr. ,1. M. Johnston's valuable services in regard to securing the dairy school for Palinerston. Mr W. T. Wood, M.P., was also cordially thanked for his effort*. Mr. Wood stated that the (iovcriinicnt were ready to proceed with the \v»rk almost at once. The space the building would occupy would he about 80 by 100 feet. A sum of £3OO was voted towards providing increased accommodation for the national Hairy show.
