INTERNATIONAL CONTESTS. SCHEME FOR TRIANGULAR MATCHES. ENGLAND. AUSTRALIA, AND SOUTH AFKICA. Keceived Bth, 5.8 p.m. London, March 7. The Marylcbone Club has issued a draft scheme of the proposed triangular matches. It suggests that England, Australia and South Africa each play each other twice during the next year, taking one-third of the gross gate receipts. Marylebone considers it difficult to make arrangements to comply with Australia's wish that a permanent programme of international cricket fixtures should precede an agreement to play an Imperial contest, but points out that the meeting next year of cricketers from the three countries would afford an opportunity to discuss the proposal.
