SALE OF "HIRSTLANDS."
EVERY SECTION CLEARED AT TO] PRICES. (Social to "Daily News"), lluwera, Saturday Nijjhl. On Saturday afternoon, the famous "llirstlauds" Estate, adjoining Normanby township, and within three niiles of llawera, comprising about 1300 acres, was submitted to public auction by the -New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., llawera, Mr. K. 11. -Wan wielding the hammer. There was a very large attendance at the sale, between 400 and 500 people being present, and the sale was undoubtedly the most successful ever held on the coast. A very keen demand for the land was experienced, and spirited competition was displayed for eaeii lot, the whole being disposed of under the hammer.
