SATURDAYS SHOOTING. Trentham, Saturday Night. The weather was very tricky this morning lor shooting, and consequently poor scores resulted. OTAGO MATCH, 800 & UOOvds. (10 shots). The Otago Match was finished early in the afternoon. The following were the principal winners:— Kitchen (Upper Hutt), £3 .. .. 80 Kandell (I'almerston N.), £4 .. 78 0. Hyde (Opaki), £4 .. ..77 Carlson (Auckland), £3 .. ..77 Krctschmar (Auckland), £3 ..77 Johnstone (Owaka), £3 .. .. 7ti Martin (Timaru) 70, Chapman (Takapau), Hower (Wellington;, and Trent (Christehureh) 75, £2 each. King (Christelmreh) and W. Franklin (Weber) are equal for the Carbine Cup. NELSON MATCH. There was poor shooting at the 500 1 and tiOOyds of the Nelson Match. At 500 Boys (Timaru) made 33, and there were only three 34's. At 600 yds the tricky wind kept up, and scoring was still lo.w.
