DUBLIN JEWELS ROBBERY.
BLUE BOOK EVIDENCE. UNSUCCESSFUL CLAIRVOYANTS. Received 17th, 4.49 p.m. London, February 17. The Dublin Jewels Commission lias biued a Blue Book showing that at the suggestion of an Italian clairvoyant, .Sr Arthur Vicars, formerly King-at-Arms, fruitlessly searched the churchvarda at Mulhuddart ami Clondilia, hoping to find regalia concealed under tombstones. Another dreamer's help alio proved uselessThe Bine Book shows also that Sir Arthur Vicars told Detective Kane he suspected Shackleton, of the Dublin Herald, Implying that while a guest at his bouse, Shackleton took impressions of the keys, while Vickers was in a bath. Detective Rfuie considers there is no case against Shackleton, and the commission completely exonerated him.
Shackleton testified that he could easily have taken the keys while Sir Arthur Vicars was in his bathroom. He also (jave numerous reasons showing that the precautions were quite insufficient to protect the jewel'. Shackleton is a brother of the commander of the Antarctic expedition.
