London, February 13. Hyue (or Lyue), the German Jew polygamist who was arrested last, month on a charge of defrauding one of his wives at Brisbane of £2OOO, has been sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. LAING AND SONS' SUSPENSION.
London, February 13. As a protest against not being included as preferential creditors for a claim of £2300 the Corporation of Sunderland Electricity Committee cut off the supply of electric current from Laing and Son's shipbuilding yards. Received 14th, 11.30 p.m. London, February 14, Sir James Laing dosed the works intunating that the Corporation's action and the Water Company's action in [ stopping supplies made the course unavoidable.
