Glenn vy railway station was destroyed by tire to-day, and all the station books, telegraph instruments, etc., post otliee material, including stamps and a • newly-arrived mail, were burnt, while about £BO in cash was also lost. A cadet's bicycle, watch, and coat were destroyed, nothing but a few tickets being saved, though the points keys were afterwards found in the debris. Telegraphic communication was interrupted, but has now been restored. The main line was buckled by the heat, and the expresses had to use the side lines.
