THE DOMINION'S FINANCES.
Per Press Association. Christchurch, Monday. The Premier, interviewed by a Lyttclton Times reporter, said the total revenue of the colony continued to swell in a very satisfactory manner. The total revenue for the eight months ending 3Uth November had been £4,959,540, compared with £4,595,012 for the same period last year. The increase for the eight months was £303,034. Following are the principal figures, those for the corresponding eight months of the previous year being given in parentheses:— Customs £2,024,384 ( £172,200), Stamps £794,958 ( £704,091), Railways £1,015,851 ( £1,523,431).
