The newspaper "Ironmonger" states that the United States Steel Trust has presented an ultimatum to the Welsh tin-plate manufacturers that they must either buy 3000 American Bteel bars monthly or be smashed. The manufacturers refuse to comply. The Daily Chronicle says if there is any reality in the threat, the Government ' should take action.
