Colonel Mackenzie remains at Mongoma, ready to march with his forces in the event of Binizulu refusing to give himself up. Mr. Louis Botha, Premier of the Transvaal, lias promised that the Transvaal will help Natal in the event of seriaus trouble arising in Zululand, making, however, the stipulation that Natal's administration must be reformed so as to remove native dissatisfaction and unrest. , Cape Colony has also promised to

Ihe majority of the Zulus appear pacific, though some are assisting the rebels with money and mealies. The Government publish a list of murders and outrages perpetrated against loyal native chiefs. The Government also announce that they are aware that other outrages are contemplated.
•■' vA DISQUIETING REPORT. Received December 0, 11.25 p.m. Durban, December 9. The Courier states it is. reported in Natal that impis numbering 10,000 men are near Dinizulu's kraal. No news has been received of the officers sent to serve the warrant for the arrest of Dinizulu. NATAL GOVERNMENT DEFENDER BY LORD SECBORNE. Received December 9, 11.25 p.m. Capetown, December 9. Lord Selborne, speaking at Bcnoni, deprecated the censure passed upon Natal Ministers, who were no less humane than their Transvaal or British critics.
