EXPLOSIONS ON BOATS.
A MARINE KILLED. Becerred Dec. 5, 0.39 a.m. Sydney, Last Night. An explosion of methylated spirits in the wardroom pantry of the flagship caused the death of Private Culky, of the marine infantry. ,_ SIX MEN INJURED. Received Dec. S, 0.45 ajn. Sydney, Lost Night. ■While six men were in the stokehold Of the coasting steamer Kempsey, lying at the wharf, a naked light set up an explosion. A leaky case of benzine was war by. Six men were injured, two aeriously.
