Per Press Association. fi Auckland, Last Night, fhe busy season is now commencing at Hie Auckland Government grading depot, the; stall being kept busily engaged. \ esterday the iirst consignment »f poultry intended for the English market came to hand, comprising two hundred very line ducklings from the farm of Messrs. Kemp Bros., Mangerc. Some of thene birds, though only ten weeks old, weigh as much a s o'/vib when dressed and ready for export. It is proposed to make up a couple of crates ot prime ducklings and chickens and forwaid them to King Kdward as a sample of New Zealand frozen poultry. The suggestion hais met with the approval of poultry-farmers, and some choice Auckland birds will probably be forwarded to His Majesty.
