DOMINION'S QUARTERLY TURNOVER.

Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A statement published in to-night's Gazette shows that the revenue of tho Dominion for the quarter ended 30th September last was £3,240,130, including £BOO,OOO under the heading of Sinking Funds set free. The revenue for tho corresponding quarter of 1906 was £2,379,071. The ordinary revenue for the quarter was £112,912 better this year than last. The following table shows the receipts under the various heads for the three months under notice of 1900 and 1907:—Customs, £792,103, £800,709; stamps, £312,547, £330,304; post and telegraph, £10,942, £11,177; land tax, £2511, £1335; income tax, £4780, £4018; beer duty, £23,312, £24,335; railways, £578,281, £017,030; registration and other fees, £44,759, £30,244; marine, £10,340, £9061; miscellaneous, £07,880, £09,520 totals, £1,847,515 and £1,904,425.
