THE NEW PLYMOUTH CONTEST. DOMINION'S BANDS GRADED. 'i-' Per Press Association. ; ' Palmers ton North, Last Night, ' A meeting of the North Island Brass Band Association was held to-niglit. There was a good attendance, Mr. Cohen (president) in the chair. The following lands were placed in gTade "A" for the forthcoming contest at New Plymouth in February: Wellington Garrison, Wanganui Garrison, Woolston Brass, Kaikonxi Brass, South Canterbury Brass, Nelson Harrison (by request), Code's Melbourne Brass, and Newcastle City. The following bands have l«een placed in grade "B":—Auckland Garrison.
