f , " a* n Per Press Association, i- Wellington, Last Night, s- The agricultural class was well represented amongst the third-class passengers by the Arawa, which arrived from London this morning. There were '.hirty-seven general farmers, about half-a-dozen farm laborers, and several dairy farmers. , The occupations of the other passengers were varied. There were a few plumbers, cabinetmakers, (- crane-drivers, tailors, cartel's, clerks, >'i some young domestics, (wo cabmen, a !« linotype operator, a gasfitter, a black'r smith, a miller, a painter, a warpid dresser, a teacher, a joiner, and a me- ' 3 clianie. A surprisingly large number k > of female immigrants arrived to fulfil 3r lengthy contracts. A score or so of the id young women passengers by the Arawa crossed the oceans to join their promised life partners, who had come out first. ■
